Statistical Bioinformatics Seminar Series

The Statistical Bioinformatics Seminar Series is hosted jointly by the Sydney Precision Data Science Centre, the Integrative Systems and Modelling Theme, and Judith and David Coffey Life Lab in the Charles Perkins Centre. The series provides a forum for researchers working in the application of computation and statistics to biology to present their work and showcase their ongoing projects. It intends to foster the exchange of ideas and build potential collaborations across multiple disciplines.

These seminars are held on Mondays at 1:00pm during the university semester and broadcast using Zoom. The talk format is a 25-minute presentation and 5 minutes of questions followed by an informal Q&A session.

Judith and David Coffey Invited Speakers

As part of this seminar series, we invite distinguished researchers as Judith and David Coffey speakers. These experts, from disciplines spanning physical, life, social and economic sciences, are leaders in applying integrated quantitative approaches to societal and lifestyle-related health problems in Australia.

Each Judith and David Coffey invited speaker delivers a 40-minute presentation, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
